Murnan Modified Motors: Each engine is modified using extremely precise machinery, and then finished by hand. When required the crankshafts are machined in house to our specifications. Each crankshaft is then hand finished so that the fuel flow is optimized inside the engine. The crankshaft is then "balanced". Balancing the crankshaft is essential for a long lasting smooth running high revving engine that sings that special note at the end of a long back straight. After the crankshaft is lightened, modified, and balanced it is finally polished, and a silicone fuel ramp is added to each crankshaft if necessary. Each cylinder also goes through its own modification process. The sleeve is modified to improve the gas flowing into, the cylinder. The modifications do not stop there. Each engine sleeve is matched to the case if necessary. The heads are decompressed, or compressed depending on the application. Pistons are even modified when applicable.
